Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia's leading autism services provider. Every year, we help over 10,000 people with autism and their families achieve the best possible opportunities.
We started in 1966, delivering special schooling to just six children in a tiny school hall. Today, we have the largest autism-specific schools program in the world, with eight independent schools, over 100 satellite classes and close to 1,000 students.
We provide an extensive range of evidence-informed services across Australia including:
- diagnostic assessments;
- early intervention;
- positive behaviour support;
- educational outreach;
- day programs for adults;
- employment support;
- information and advice for the community; and,
- workshops for parents and carers.
One in 100 Australians will be diagnosed with autism - a lifelong developmental disability, for which there is no known cure.
Your support gives kids with autism the vital therapies and supports they need to reach their unique potential and succeed in later life.
