Help provide housing and transport for cancer patients who are receiving treatment away from home. Cancer Council Queensland has a number of lodges that provide accommodation free of charge to cancer patients and their carers whilst they are undergoing treatment. Whilst they stay with us we also provide free transport to their appointments to alleviate the costs associated with receiving treatment away from home. These services are critical for regional patients where survival rates are severely impacted by distance to medical resources.
