Foster Carers for abandoned cats & kittens

Fostering brings the joy of knowing you have saved a life and also of having some purrfect love in your life for a while. As a foster carer we ask you to care for cats or kittens in your own home until they are adopted into a forever home.

Can you commit to six to twelve months? (we always provide back up carer if you are going on holidays).

Are you able to transport cat to vet if needs be?

Our volunteer foster carer provides our recommended cat food and litter, and CatRescue 901 pays for all vet costs at our own vets with our authorisation.

We are looking for volunteer foster carers within Sydney's
North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and some of Southern Sydney.

CatRescue 901 takes pride in operating with ethically and at a high standard and we support our foster carers properly.

Points to note

A minimum commitment of 6 months is required, however we can cover holidays with advance notice.
