Committee of Management - Treasurer
About the role
The Multiple Birth Volunteer Support Foundation (MBVS) is currently looking for a CA/CPA qualified accountant to be the treasurer on our Committee of Management. Our current treasurer remains on the committee, so there will be an excellent handover. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can:
The Committee meets on the first Monday of each month, at 7pm in Carlton. Estimated time commitment is 5-10 hours per month.
About the organisation
MBVS recruits, trains and organises local people to provide hands-on help to families with their triplets or more, particularly when they are babies. We also support families with twins in challenging situations.
We have been running since 1997, and were incorporated and obtained DGR status in 2011.
With a number of new committee members, this is an exciting time in a small, fully volunteer run organisation, with the potential to help us grow significantly and help many more multiple birth families.
