Starlight Children's Foundation

Starlight Children's Foundation

Sick kids are still kids at heart that's why Starlight’s mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families, replacing pain, fear and stress experienced through hospitalisation and treatment, with programs that deliver fun, joy and laughter.

While health professionals focus on treating the illness, Starlight provides tailored programs designed to provide positive distraction allowing the individual to forget about their illness and to simply be a kid.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation is a national organisation with programs in every state and territory and in all major children's hospitals throughout Australia.

Clinical research has demonstrated that health professionals value the service Starlight provides as it relieve boredom and frustration for sick children, provide parents with a break and also allow the children to engage in normal activities with their brothers, sisters and friends who visit them hospital. Our programs are proven to assist with compliance to treatment.

Your generous contribution will help to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
