Public interface at the iconic Gingerbread Village

The Gingerbread Village by EPICURE is back again, and this year at a new venue! We're seeking volunteers to ensure that the event is a fundraising success!The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is looking for volunteers to ensure the 2019 Gingerbread Village is a success! This is a great opportunity to take a few hours out this silly season, and spend some time volunteering with your friends, family or colleagues.
Tasks for our volunteers include:
  • Collecting donations
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Answering questions about the RCH
  • Thanking visitors for their support
We’re seeking volunteers from 30 November -  24 December at the new location at St. Collins Lane, Melbourne with the aim of raising $30,000 to help sick kids.
Volunteer shifts are four hours long, with times available from 9am – 9pm throughout the month.
This year EPICURE's Gingerbread Village promises to be the most exciting Gingerbread Village yet – we hope to see you there!

Volunteer Requirements:
  • Valid Working With Children's Check
  • Aged 18 and over.
Shifts:
There are three volunteer shifts each day throughout the month of December, with each needing three volunteers.
  • 9am - 1.15pm
  • 1pm – 5.15pm
  • 5pm – 9pm
Mandatory
Working w/ Children Check
Points to note
We need three people per shift across 9am shift, 1pm shift and 5pm shift. Volunteers MUST be over 18.
