Red Shield Appeal Packing Team
A great team-building activity for 10-12 people! Come on board for this satisfying and productive activity assisting in the packing and storage for the Salvos most important fundraising activity for the year - the Red Shield Appeal. You'll play an important role in helping our warehouse prepare the equipment our network of collectors.
Each year these collectors raise funds for Australians experiencing disadvantage, providing support for our vast range of services including housing and homeless services, Asylum Seeker and Refugee Services, domestic violence services, financial counselling, drug and alcohol recovery services and aged care.
After a briefing on the work of The Salvation Army, your day will encompass light warehouse duties, sorting out stock and packing up in boxes and labelling. Get alongside your team members, working together for that satisfying feeling of seeing your accomplishments at the end of the day, knowing too that you have played a vital role in helping the Salvos help those in need.
A typical day with us would be:
8.30 am Greeting with briefing about the Salvos
9.00 am Start the activity
12 noon Break for lunch (byo or buy locally)
12.45 pm Back on the job
3.00 pm Wrap Up and debrief about the day

We are seeking teams of 12 volunteers on any of the following dates:
October 24,25,26,31st; Nov 1 & 2nd.
Please wear close-toed, non-slip shoes, casual clothes.
