Since 1989, TreeProject’s efforts have put over two million more trees back on the land.

We’ve achieved this with a vast, passionate network of landholders and volunteer growers. We believe that all of us, rural and urban alike, have a role to play in repairing our natural environment. TreeProject makes this connection possible.

By supporting home nurseries in backyards around the state, we help volunteer growers to raise future forests in their own backyards. These community-grown indigenous seedlings are supplied at low cost to landholders all over Victoria. More trees in the ground means more carbon storage in native vegetation, more habitat for wildlife, better waterways, and healthier farmland for the production of food and fibre for us all.
