Seeing Eye Dogs Tours Volunteer

KEY DUTIES  
The volunteer will
• Provide administrative support
• Create databases of contacts e.g. Expos and events and organisations to approach (+ VA Offices)
• Be involved in the interviewing and coordination of the Speakers Team & Tours volunteers
• Assist in copywriting & creation of Speakers Team & Tours Presentation and content
• Create Speakers Team & Tours packs for events (e.g. video, Sam the Seeing Eye Dog costume (needs a logo & lanyard), Royal Canine educ snacks, colouring sheet, seda business cards & flyers, sign-up sheets)
• Help administer the volunteer training• Attend some Speakers events/expos & Tours
• Marketing and promotion of the Speakers Team & Tours programsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEThe volunteer will demonstrate abilities in• MS Office Suite e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
• Exceptional level of customer service skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to interact and communicate with others
• To ensure strict confidentiality

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
The volunteer may have abilities in
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently when required
• Awareness of working with people who have a disability or sensory loss
