Zahra Foundation delivers half and one day workshops on money management for women who have been affected by domestic violence.
We partner with other like organisations to share resources and offer women a range of experiences as a part of these workshops to help them increase confidence and break social isolations.
Some examples are yoga, cooking, bellydancing, art therapy and self defence classes. Incorporating financial and physical fitness provides women with the opportunity to connect with themselves and take control over their financial situation.
These programs also link women in with accountants, lawyers and finaincial counselling to get addition one on one support tailored to their specific needs and situations, which can often be highly complex.
