Pets in Peril
$ 5.00
Animals are, for the many of us, a part of the family and contribute a lot more than just companionship. The pets of families that experience domestic violence often have an increased value. They are safe, predictable and they certainly don’t judge us, they love unconditionally. This often intense relationship increases the perpetrators ability to use them as a tool to coerce and control family members.
Being able to remove that leverage is of enormous benefit to the families involved, giving them the ability to plan their future without worrying whether their pets will be harmed. Please support this vital program.
