FRRR’s Disaster Recovery Grants support communities affected by natural disasters. The program typically begins 12-18 months after an initial disaster and can last for several years, as community recovery takes time.
Grants help fund what the community needs – from emergency service facilities, to health and wellbeing programs,community events to bring people together to share their stories, or replacing important community infrastructure.
$10 could help fund community events like a festival or art class to bring people together and encourage connectedness through difficult times.
