Can pay for one session of tutoring for a child who is behind in their schooling due to experiencing trauma.
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Children Ahead program provides intensive, therapeutic support for children and young people aged up to 18 years to assist with their recovery from significant trauma or violence.
For children to recover from violence they need a safe, predictable and stable environment, as well as the opportunity to express and communicate their feelings, positive relationships, connection to family, and resilience.
The Foundation’s qualified case managers work directly with children and families to support their emotional, educational and social needs, as well as their psychological wellbeing and any overall heal concerns.
