Donate your time and donate blood.
The need for blood never stops!
Lifeblood needs around 33,000 donations every week to meet patient demand. There aren’t many jobs where you can save 3 lives by spending an hour relaxing – and receive a free lunch at the end!
For many people, donating blood and plasma is both easier and more rewarding than they’d imagined, and it’s even better when you do it with your workmates, team mates, or community group, through Lifeblood Teams.
Lifeblood Teams is about raising spirits and team pride - and about the sense of unity, you get from working together for something bigger than yourself.
Can you help?
If you are able to, please make an appointment to donate blood and remember to join your organisation’s Lifeblood Team, so your donation can count towards their tally – which you can track here.
Unable to donate blood, but still want to help?

The Lifeblood group donation program is a social responsibility program for workmates, friends, team mates, and communities who want to make a difference. It doesn’t matter if there are 5 of you, or 500 — nothing beats the feeling of saving lives together.
Lifeblood is an operating division of the Australian Red Cross Society. Lifeblood is funded by the federal, state, and territory governments of Australia to supply the community with safe, high-quality blood and blood products, as well as organ and bone marrow services for transplantation.
