$667 can provide a 16m² double-fly tent with a ground sheet, offering temporary shelter for a family who has lost their home. 

From 29 March all donations to the Global Emergency Fund will support our response to the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake.

Your donation helps Red Cross be there to support people affected by the earthquakes in Myanmar. It enables us and our partners, Myanmar Red Cross (MRCS), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) and the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), to provide life-saving assistance, and help people recover safely and with dignity.

As the emergency response progresses, support may include:

• Emergency assistance including search and rescue, first aid and ambulance transport


• Distribution of emergency cash assistance as well as relief supplies and drinking water to affected communities


• Helping people to restore contact with family members separated by the crisis


• Deployment of specialist aid workers to assist local teams to respond


• Working in affected areas to support communities to recover from this disaster, and build their resilience to future ones.


• Monitoring and evaluation of the humanitarian operation
