Backpacks 4 Vic Kids is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting children and youth in crisis, providing them with essential material aid to help them regain a sense of security, dignity, and hope. We focus on children and young people who have been displaced or removed from their homes, providing them with packs filled with essential items such as clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, school supplies, toys, and comfort items.

Founded with a mission to help children and youth navigate the challenges of displacement, we deliver tailored support through programs like the My Essentials Pack (ME Packs), School Essentials Packs (SE Packs), Youth Outreach Kits (YO Kits), and our annual Christmas 4 Kids in Care (C4KiC) program. Our work goes beyond material aid—our goal is to show these children they are seen, valued, and loved, and that there is a community that cares deeply for them.

At Backpacks 4 Vic Kids, we collaborate with child welfare services, social workers, and community organizations to ensure our aid reaches those who need it most. We also aim to raise awareness and promote social justice, working to break the cycle of disadvantage and empower children and youth to overcome their circumstances and build brighter futures.
