Help Kids Heal – Volunteer at Camp Magic

Join the Feel the Magic community and help change a child’s life at Camp Magic, Australia’s leading grief-education program for kids aged 7–17 who’ve lost a parent, sibling, or guardian.

Over one powerful weekend, you’ll support campers as they build confidence, connection, and resilience, and you’ll witness the magic of healing and hope first-hand. Volunteers can contribute in a range of ways.

  • Mentors work one-on-one with campers, guiding them through activities, listening to them, and encouraging them as they discover new ways to cope and grow.

  • Support Team Members keep the camp running smoothly, coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and jumping in wherever help is needed.

  • Wellbeing Team Members (educators and mental-health professionals) facilitate small-group “Talk Time” sessions that teach emotional literacy and self-care.

  • Delivery Team Leaders, Psychologists, and Nurses provide experienced guidance and ensure every camper and volunteer feels safe and supported.

No matter your background, there’s a place for you in the Camp Magic team. All volunteers receive full training and join a community of passionate people making a real difference for grieving kids and their families.

Be part of something truly meaningful because together, we can ensure no child grieves alone.
