Girls from Oz (g-oz) is a not-for-profit dedicated to enhancing academic and employment pathways and the overall wellbeing of girls in remote Australia.

Our programs use the reputable, evidence-based performing arts engagement model as developed by the Australian School of Performing Arts over the past 40 years to engage and re-engage individuals in their schooling.

At present, our Community Programs occur once per school term every term at Halls Creek District High School (Halls Creek, WA) and La Grange Remote Community School (Bidyadanga, WA), Lockhart State School (Lockhart RIver, QLD) and Kowanyama State School (Kowanyama, QLD).

We work closely with these communities, shaping our classes and curriculum with the schools we work in to ensure we’re contributing to the community’s long-term goals.
