  • Expertise in Governance: Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in governance principles, frameworks, and best practices, with a proven track record of implementing effective governance structures in organizations.

  • Ethical Compliance: Showcase a strong commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and industry standards while upholding the organization's values and mission.

  • Transparency and Accountability: Possess the ability to foster transparency and accountability within the organization, promoting open communication, disclosure of information, and responsible decision-making processes

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrate proficiency in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, engaging with diverse stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, customers, and the community, to build trust and credibility in the organization's governance practices.

  • Innovation: Stimulate innovation in governance practices, exploring new approaches, technologies, and methodologies to enhance governance effectiveness, adaptability, and relevance in a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with board members, executive leadership, and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration, consensus-building, and alignment on governance priorities and initiatives.

What's expected?



  • Attend bi-monthly board meetings, actively participating in discussions and providing strategic input on governance matters. 

  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing effective governance structures and processes within the organization.

  • Ensure ethical compliance and regulatory adherence across all operations, policies, and decision-making processes.

  • Foster transparency and accountability through open communication and responsible decision-making practices.

  • Engage stakeholders to build trust and credibility in the organization's governance practices, addressing concerns and soliciting feedback as needed.
