What’s Legacy Giving Day all about?

It’s a special event held on Thursday 22nd May, where volunteers contact our generous supporters to thank them and encourage further support. We’ll have 12 callers for each shift, making calls to connect with our amazing donors and share the impact that a gift would make on giving day. We will be providing morning and afternoon tea and lunch will be served at 12:30pm.

It will be a fun day, the TV in the Sydney Legacy Room will have live updates on how much has been raised and we will have celebrations as we meet certain milestones in our funds raised! You might even be asked to shake a pom pom!!

What will you be doing?

Answering phone calls.

Taking down details of donations

Talking to Legacy donors

What skills do you need to have?

Basic administration skills

Ability to chat to people on the telephone

Points to note

Giving Day will take place at Legacy's office at 35 Clarence Street, Sydney. Short walking distance from Wynyard train station and directly opposite Jamison Street. This is Legacy's inaugural Giving Day for Sydney Legacy, so a new and exciting day in our Fundraising Calendar!
