Trust for Nature works closely with private landholders, Aboriginal Victorians, government, conservation organisations, and businesses to help restore, protect and manage biodiversity on private land. The Trust also owns more than 40 conservation reserves across Victoria, including the state's largest private conservation reserve, Ned's Corner Station.

Our strength is our power to protect habitat on private land forever – even after it changes hands. This means that our investments in land protection live on and benefit future generations. They become part of the legacy of this generation.

Our vision is to ensure that Victoria’s most threatened native plants and wildlife are conserved for all time. We aim not only conserve but rehabilitate and restore ecosystems, returning life to once were degraded habitats and helping native wildlife flourish anew.

In the face of climate change and continued habitat loss, with newly threatened species joining already long endangered and extinction lists, our work is more urgent and critical than ever.
