Uniting Op Shop Ballarat is a destination for locals and visitors alike. Our shop, in the heart of the city, is an integral part of Uniting's services. Uniting Op Shops provides affordable clothing and homeware items in a welcoming and inclusive environment while playing an essential role in funding Uniting’s program delivery.

Our aim is to delight customers in a meaningful and memorable way in a contemporary charity environment that is positive, creative, inclusive, and fun! From creating a vibrant and dynamic space using imaginative displays of quality donations to serving and assisting customers, and working behind the scenes with sorting and tagging new stock, the Uniting Op Shop is an exciting place to be.

Why not add your talents to our team? Volunteers are at the heart of our organisation and a crucial part of our Op Shops. We are flexible and work to accommodate busy volunteers. Ideally, you would be available 1 – 3 days per week for full-day or half-day shifts. We have shifts available during the week as well as on weekends.

If you like people, customer service, vintage and designer products, merchandising, organisation, fashion, have an interest in sustainability, learning new skills - any or all of the above! – then this opportunity is for you. We look forward to getting to know you and welcoming you to our team!
