A distinguishing feature of the AWC conservation model is the fact that around 80% of our staff are based in the field. Working in extremely remote areas – often in very challenging conditions – our field staff represent the front line in the battle against feral animals, wildfire and weeds. The capacity of our staff to deliver effective conservation is heavily dependent on the provision of infrastructure and on their access to reliable, high quality equipment.
