Cowboys Community Foundation deliver outcomes-driven community programs that remove geographic, health and wellbeing, cultural and economic barriers that stand in the way of equitable access to pathways for a fulfilling life. Here are three of our flagship and award winning programs.

NRL Cowboys House, is a culturally-safe, unique boarding facility for 104 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women aged 11–18 from more than 30 of Queensland‘s most remote and geographically disadvantaged communities.

Referred through primary schools with family endorsement, these students must leave home to access quality secondary school education. Cowboys House provides holistic wraparound support in education, wellbeing, culture, and career transitions, continuing through Year 13 and beyond.

Try for 5! is a school attendance initiative supporting primary schools
in remote and regional Queensland. With the help of program ambassadors, Try
for 5! motivates students to attend school regularly and build positive habits
from an early age.

Dream, Believe, Achieve is an award winning program supporting unemployed and disadvantaged North Queenslanders into training and jobs.

Since 2015, it has helped hundreds gain industry-recognised qualifications and long-term employment. Its success comes from strong mentoring that guides participants through training and into lasting paid work.
