Help keep our website "surfing" to people (and dolphins)!
The Dolphin Research Institute (DRI) seeks to recruit an occasional mentor and fixer to keep the more technical end of our Wordpress website running and efficient.
Our site is built and maintained ourselves on a Wordpress theme and would benefit from occasional mentoring and more depth assistance about once per year.
DRI is about more than dolphins! Our science certainly focuses on marine mammals but our education and conservation work takes a whole-ecosystem approach with special attention on our wonderful bays and unique Victorian marine systems.
We are an unusual community-based conservation organisation, having a positive, strategic and balanced approach. Our science is in partnership with major universities and has driven legislative change in Victoria. We are also a major provider of marine education to schools and adults. We have a vision to establish a world-class marine conservation centre in Hastings.
The right person will be sympathetic to the realities of a small not for profit. Perhaps and most importantly, they will have a passion for our bays and will want to support DRI’s role of helping “Victorian’s to care for their marine treasures”. It would be best to have someone who lives or has their heart, on the Mornington Peninsula and both our bays.
