Committee of Management member - executive
About the role
We are seeking people with leadership skills to join our committee of management to help us achieve our goals of supporting more multiple birth families and expanding our services to a wider area. We currently have two vacancies including an executive position.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about the health, development and wellbeing of families, new parents, babies and/or young children. Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred:
About the organisation
MBVS recruits, trains and organises local people to provide hands-on help to families with their twins, triplets or more, particularly when they are babies. Historically we have provided these services mainly to families with triplets or more, but are currently expanding to be able to help more twin families, by establishing volunteer banks in various suburbs. We are focusing on Melbourne initially, with a view to expand in to regional Victoria and beyond.
We have been running since 1997, and were incorporated and obtained DGR status in 2011.
With a number of new committee members, this is an exciting time in a small, fully volunteer run organisation, with the potential to help us grow significantly and help many more multiple birth families.
