Sewing People – Corporate Volunteers
We currently have volunteers who come into the centre and sew and make a range of different items including library bags, heat packs, knitted booties etc. These items are then sent off to fundraising stalls and cafes throughout Adelaide as well as our own Puddle Jumpers Op Shop to sell and fundraise for us to support our organisation and existing programs.
We welcome corporate volunteers to assist us as sewing people.
We can organise for your team to come into our centre for a day to make something, the days and times for completing this is flexible and can be discussed further with us.
Alternatively we can also organise for your team to complete this at your own time outside the centre with the deadlines for the items (materials and items needed can be collected from our centre), or set up a roster system that allows a few members of your team to volunteer to complete the task on a roster basis.
