The Big Issue Classroom provides school groups with an insight into homelessness, marginalisation and disadvantage, as experienced by thousands of Australians each night. During the one-hour workshop, participants hear a guest speaker’s personal story of homelessness and disadvantage, helping to break down stereotypes in the community. The workshop also helps participants better understand the unique role of social enterprise in addressing some of Australia’s most critical social issues.
