Restore sight to one person
$ 25.00
It costs as little as $25 in some developing countries to perform cataract surgery and restore sight to people living with unnecessary blindness.

For example, in some countries, The Foundation distributes free intraocular lenses to poorer patients, or subsidises consumable costs, while in other countries patients are charged on a sliding scale, with wealthier patients subsidising the cost for poorer patients.

Giving a $25 Gift of Sight can cover the costs of vital components of modern cataract surgery, including the intraocular lens (IOL), sutures and other consumables (bandages and anaesthetic), and pre and post operative patient care.

With your help, The Fred Hollows Foundation can restore sight for just $25 - and you can give someone a gift that keeps on giving for a lifetime.
