Christmas Gifts for teens - volunteer from your workplace

The Salvation Army is well known for looking out for those who are experiencing personal hardship and crisis. Many Australian families can’t afford to buy their kids gifts at Christmas time. This is where The Salvation Army steps in to redistribute gifts to kids whose families are doing it tough. However, each Christmas there’s often a shortfall of around 300 gifts for teenagers.  This usually means Salvation Army needs to purchase gifts to ensure teens don't miss out.

So instead we are reaching out to corporate groups to organise workplace gift drives for our teens. Promote to your staff to bring in to work a suitable gift for a teen, arrange a collection point and coordinator at work, and when you're ready to donate your teen gifts, we'll make arrangements to collect.

The Salvation Army Community Engagement team will provide you with resources to assist you in the smooth running of your gift drive.

This is your chance to make our teens’ Christmas Day a joyful one. Take the first step and contact us for more information on how your team can get involved.
