Salvos Christmas Picking and Packing Team
A great team-building activity for 10-12 people! Come on board for this satisfying and productive activity assisting in the packing and storage for the Salvos busiest time of the year. You'll play an important role in helping our warehouse prepare the equipment to assist Australians in need this festive season.
Each year Salvos assist Australians experiencing disadvantage at Christmas time, providing support for our vast range of services including housing and homeless services, Asylum Seeker and Refugee Services, domestic violence services, financial counselling, drug and alcohol recovery services and aged care.
After a briefing on the work of The Salvation Army, your day will encompass light warehouse duties, sorting out stock and packing up in boxes and labelling. Get alongside your team members, working together for that satisfying feeling of seeing your accomplishments at the end of the day, knowing too that you have played a vital role in helping the Salvos help those in need.
Shifts available November 6th, 7th, 8th, 20th, 21st and 22nd 2019.
9am to 3pm daily.
Groups of up to 12 people welcomed.
Please note; due to the popularity of these events places will not be held until paperwork and registration is submitted and confirmed by the site manager.
Please wear appropriate clothing for a warehouse environment and the weather. Closed toe shoes please.
Many eating places close by or BYO lunch.
No on site parking, but public transport close by.
