Come and Try Bushcare Day (Fairview Park)
Join a team of local volunteers and make a difference to SA's native bushland. It's Fun, Meaningful & Easy! Days run from 9am – 3.30pm. Transport available from Brooklyn Park, with designated pickups along the way (Bus leaves Brooklyn Park at approx 7.30am, returns at approx 5pm). Join us for half a day if you wish, but you'll need your own transport.
What is bushcare?Bush Regeneration is not just planting trees; in fact it’s not about planting at all. It’s about looking after the valuable remnants of native bushland we still have, and returning them to health. Bushcare is about encouraging natural regeneration by reducing isolated weeds that compete with our native plants for space, food & water. Immerse yourself in some serene bushland settings, and know that you are creating healthy habitats for wildlife and natural places we can all enjoy for the future.
