Stop tiger selfies now
$ 25.00
Your gift could help educate tourists that tiger selfies are never ok and cruel to the wild animals involved.

Animals may look happy in selfies. But they’ve often been taken illegally from their natural home and repeatedly baited with food. All this excessive human contact causes extreme trauma.

So far, more than 250,000 people have signed up to our Wildlife Selfie Code. Now, when one of Instagram’s 800 million users searches for hashtags like #tigerselfie or #koalaselfie, they’ll be presented with a warning message. This tells users that the selfies and photos they’re searching for may be associated with encouraging harmful behaviour to animals. But we’ve only just begun.

All donations, gifts and other funds received go towards all of World Animal Protection’s work to prevent animal cruelty, and are used where needed most.
