Unfortunately most homeless shelters/refuge are not pet-friendly and many are forced to make that heartbreaking decision on a regular basis. Your donation will ensure that a pet in crisis will be safely cared for through our Emergency Boarding or Foster Care program while their owner gets back on their feet.
In many instances, people find themselves experiencing homelessness very suddenly. But a rapid change in circumstances doesn’t mean the need for pet care stops. When facing homelessness, the security and companionship of a pet is a comfort many people value above all else and as a result people often try to ensure their pet’s needs ahead of their own.
