Christmas Gift Wrappers at MYER and help women and children escape family violence
During the peak Christmas shopping period of December 8 -24, Myer Highpoint will be offering their Charity Gift Wrapping service, whereby customers can have their purchases wrapped for a small fee by safe steps volunteers. The best part is, 100% of the money paid by customers for the wrapping of their presents will be donated back to safe steps to help women and children escaping family violence through our service.
This is a really great opportunity to educate the community about the crucial work we do at safe steps, at such a busy time of the year, as well as help to raise some funds to help women and children at risk.
This is where you come in… We are looking for groups of 2-4 people who would like to volunteer to wrap presents for each shift . We envisage each shift will be between up to 4 hours, exact times will be confirmed in due course.
It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with a couple of your colleagues and make a real difference!
We are flexible as to the day of week that you volunteer. Please let us know what suits you between Friday 8th - Sat 24th December and if your preference is for a morning/ afternoon or afternoon/eve shift. NOTE- all shifts take place at MYER Highpoint.
